Tells Story of FACTORY900

Sawa
For women. Neo-futuristic eyewear rarely looks good on women, but I think Aoyama can make it well. It would be definitely interesting.
Aoyama
I have some ideas but timing is crucial.
I don't want to make glasses just like the same design in different sizes.... Now I'm in the preparation phase collection's sketches.
Sawa
I look forward to it!
Ito
Is there any prompt when you make real products from sketches?
Aoyama
Well, maybe it depends on my mood. For example, I released "Mask" in 2007 but actually the sketches had been finished in 2003. You may wonder why it must be in "2007". I felt the tide was right or everything gave me a supportive push. Maybe it means my sense of time or considering the balance of collections.
Sawa
Right timing is one of the important element for commercialization of product. If you did it too early, it would come to a bad end.
Aoyama
However, I sometimes have doubts there is a big difference between the hot products in the present and the other ones going be hot after 2 years later.
I have never product something would be going hot at that time. I have tried to show my policy what I want.
On the other hand, I sometime find cutting-edge cool ones become a rather popular after 2 years.
Abe
That's because you see more similar products around.
Aoyama
It may say he built up a new era.
I think it may expand consumers' consciousness at glasses, as "It can become glasses", or it may change the "stereotype-glasses".
Ito
In closing, I would like to ask you, Abe-san, what do you want from FACTORY900?
Abe
Well. Try not to just knuckle under to the pressure falling on you increasingly.
In a way, designer is like a kind of artists. I think mental stability is important. So, relax your shoulders.
It's just, back-to-basics. Please keep your beginner's mind just like you offered your products for the first time.
Ground yourself. And please keep making products how very like FACTORY900.
Aoyama
Sure. It's been very interesting talking with you today. Thank you very much.
